A high-altitude vineyard

Perched at 350 meters above sea level on the first foothills of the Pyrenees, Château Rives-Blanques is unlike any other estate. It is a place apart: a high-altitude vineyard dedicated to the great white wines of Languedoc, in an environment as wild as it is inspiring.

A living, fragmented, organic place

Here, between untamed garrigue and sunlit hills, the vines seem to float between sky and earth, in a constant dialogue with the elements.

An intimate story, a place of intuition

Here, everything begins in silence. In Fabrezan, at the foot of the Corbières, a 10-hectare enclave was chosen more than twenty years ago—not to produce more, but to do things differently.

Who are we?

A name that carries our convictions

Who are we?

Artisans Partisans is not just a combination of words: it is a statement of intent, the expression of our deep commitment to our craft, our land, and our vision of wine. It is a promise, a manifesto, and above all a cultural anchor.

Artisans: a craft of the heart, a cultural gesture

We are artisans because we work the land with passion, patience, and high standards.
Working the vine is a craft, a precise gesture, repeated and refined over generations. Viticulture is not merely about producing grapes: it is an alchemy between soil, climate, and the winemaker’s hand.
We cultivate our vineyards organically, preserving our terroirs so they can fully express themselves and pass on their richness to future generations.
We craft our wines with meticulous care, respecting every plot and every vintage. Our winemaking is the result of hands-on work and constant reflection, where technique serves only to reveal the wine’s authenticity, never to mask it.

We are artisans because we reject standardization. Each cuvée is a unique creation, shaped by our terroir and our commitment.

Who are we?

Partisans: Proud of our land and our appellations

Who are we?

We are partisans because we defend a free and sincere vision of wine, rooted in the finest appellations of Languedoc. To be partisan is to claim wine as a living local culture, anchored in our lands, our stories, our climates, and to ensure that this culture continues to live, renew itself, and be passed on.

We claim our terroirs and appellations as a living heritage, to be preserved and elevated.
We are committed to responsible viticulture, enhancing exceptional landscapes and ensuring sustainable farming practices.
We offer wine lovers a journey through emblematic appellations, from Corbières to Limoux, via the Cru Boutenac.

To be partisan is to choose a side. We have chosen that of a committed, living wine, true to its origins.

Artisans Partisans is therefore a team of wine makers and cultural storytellers.

Artisans Partisans is above all a human adventure driven by a team of 47 colleagues, all united by the same passion: creating distinctive wines, in harmony with their terroir.

Manifest

We are wine producers.
And so much more.

Manifest

We are estate winemakers, rooted in our lands, guided by the taste for work well done and a demand for meaning.

Every decision is made in the vineyard; every wine is born in our hands, on our estates, on our terroirs.
Our freedom is that of those who know their soil, their climate, their craft.

We are artisans because we believe in slow gestures, precision, and the intelligence of living things.
Because a wine worthy of its name is not manufactured—it is grown, revealed, and passed on.

We are partisans because we defend a certain idea of wine: one that honors its origins, its grape varieties, its terroir, and the women and men who work it.

We produce our wines in Languedoc, across emblematic appellations that we proudly champion, with respect and determination.

Manifest

Our estates

Our estate is a collection of distinctive places, united by a shared philosophy:

We farm organically, explore biodynamics, raise a flock to enrich our soils, and train vines on trellises to protect them in a changing climate. We sow fava beans, harvest grapes, and above all: we make wines that tell who we are. Here, wine is a cultural fact, an act of transmission, a tool for dialogue. It is made to nourish the mind as much as the senses—to awaken, connect, and teach. We do not produce to please everyone. We produce to stay true to what the land gives us, and so that those who taste can, through our bottles, experience a vision.

We are Artisans Partisans. Winemakers first. Committed by nature. Proud to craft wines with soul.

Château Ollieux Romanis

Château Ollieux Romanis

The origin. The emblem. The epicenter.

This is where it all began. Nestled at the heart of Cru Boutenac, Château Ollieux Romanis is our historic estate, whose reputation has been built across generations and vintages.
On this exceptional terroir, our century-old Carignan vines draw their strength from living soils, farmed organically since 2006 and moving toward biodynamics.
This is also where we established our experimental trellised plot, a symbol of our determination to reinvent the vine in the face of climate challenges.

More than an estate, Ollieux Romanis is a compass, a manifesto, a foundation. An alliance between memory and momentum, between roots and boldness.

Altitude. Light. Purity.

At 350 meters above sea level, on the Cépie terroir, Rives-Blanques explores the luminous elegance of great Languedoc whites. Surrounded by forests and protected by a Natura 2000 reserve, the estate is a refuge for three exceptional grape varieties—Chardonnay, Chenin, and Mauzac—grown organically with the utmost respect for the environment. Rives-Blanques is also home to the Mauzac conservatory, a true genetic sanctuary for an ancestral variety. Here, wine is raised at the crossroads of Atlantic and Mediterranean influences, revealing rare finesse, vibrant tension, and the quintessence of a vertical terroir.

Instinct. Living energy. Nature laid bare.

A pioneer since 2003 in additive-free winemaking, Domaine Pierre Bories is the free, sincere laboratory of our adventure.

With indigenous yeasts and no added sulfites, each cuvée is conceived as a raw snapshot of a vintage, a climate, a soil.

Here, nature is not controlled—it is listened to, supported, and revealed.
Between humility and a search for truth, this estate gives birth to wines that are bare, profound, uncompromising—both terroir manifestos and acts of faith.

Character. Intensity. The soul of Corbières.

Champ des Murailles is the raspy, lyrical voice of the South—not seeking to please, but to leave a mark.
Each wine is a cry of identity, a no-frills statement, a characterful wine that speaks loud, strong, and true.
On these arid, wind-swept lands, organic farming is an obvious choice, and winemaking a gesture both poetic and political.

Champ des Murailles is wine like a wild poem—a sensual rebellion, a form of artisanal resistance.

Our shared commitment: protect our land, respect biodiversity, and pass on living, pure, sincere wines.

A hybrid model

Grow, nurture, and select

Our story

Beyond our own estates, we work with winemakers who share our philosophy.
Our goal? To offer wine lovers a true immersion in the diversity of Languedoc.

A journey through the appellations – Our grape selections allow us to elevate a diversity of terroirs, from Minervois to Pic Saint-Loup, via Limoux and Faugères.
Partnerships built on excellence – We work hand in hand with our partners to ensure consistent quality and respectful winemaking.
A direct link to the vine – Through our cuvées, we share the taste of terroir and the story of the women and men who cultivate it.

Buying grapes is not a default choice; it is a conscious approach that allows us to ensure the consistency and identity of our cuvées while showcasing specific terroirs. We are involved in every step, from cultivation to winemaking: we support our partners to raise standards and preserve the authenticity of the grapes.

Every Artisans Partisans bottle is an invitation to travel, a fragment of shared culture—a link between terroirs and sensibilities.

Passing on: beyond wine, a cultural act

Making wine is not just about producing bottles.
It is also about telling a story, creating meaning, and awakening curiosity.
At Artisans Partisans, it also means educating, awakening, and opening perspectives.

We want every sip to be an invitation to understand a terroir, a technique, a choice.
We educate without imposing, we share without pretension.

That is why we put concrete actions in place:

Educational cuvées that express, without artifice, the typicity of a grape variety or a terroir.
Conversations with consumers and professionals to share our vision of free, committed wine.
An oenotourism journey, at the heart of the estate, to see, smell, and understand our practices.

Everything is designed to reconcile taste and knowledge, in a spirit of sharing and accessibility.

Wine is a living culture. We are its artisans.

Biodiversity & tangible proof of our commitment

Biodiversity and commitment

At Artisans Partisans, biodiversity is not a talking point. It is a guiding principle. In the vineyards as in the cellar, every gesture aims to preserve living systems, encourage natural diversity, and build a sustainable, humble, conscious form of viticulture. We are producers—but above all, we are guardians of our ecosystem.

Far from empty talk, we bring tangible proof of our practices:

  • Biodiversity at the heart of our vineyards: we encourage ground cover, replant hedgerows, olive trees and strawberry trees, and grow fava beans to enrich our soils naturally.
  • Sheep, ewes… and soil that can breathe: on several of our estates, we reintroduced a flock of sheep and ewes, as our ancestors once did. In winter, they graze between the vine rows, weed naturally, and help maintain ground cover. Their manure is then spread across the plots, acting as a natural, living fertilizer that feeds the soils and stimulates microbial activity.

Values

Values

Respect for terroir, know-how, and consumers

Nature is at the heart of our mission. We respect it and commit to protecting it, while integrating innovative and responsible solutions designed to minimize our environmental impact and contribute to nature’s regeneration: planting resistant grape varieties, biodynamics, trellising…

We believe in transparency, active listening, and co-creating with our consumers to offer an experience that is both ethical and sustainable. Time-honored know-how guides us every day—whether in selecting our raw materials, in our production methods, or in our relationships with partners and team members. We build mutually beneficial relationships, where our partners and collaborators share the same stability as the company.

Our respect for biodiversity goes hand in hand with our respect for our consumers. Every product we design and every service we offer is conceived to meet our customers’ expectations while respecting their needs and values.

Making sincerity a guiding principle

Our goal is to build a relationship of exchange founded on trust, where everyone feels free to take part in the approach—identifying with our values and sharing our convictions. We want to create a community of conscious, committed, and curious consumers who accompany us in this collective adventure.

This relationship of trust, built on transparency and sincerity, is essential to shift mindsets and encourage more responsible, respectful consumption.

In this way, every bottle we offer bears the imprint of our history, our land, and our know-how—in short, our Culture.

A place for exchange and passing on

Culture is not a fixed concept or a sealed inheritance, but a living exchange—a continuous dynamic between individuals and generations. Our culture is the result of a harmonious encounter between the age-old traditions passed down to us and the modern innovations we choose to adopt. We want to preserve our roots while remaining open to progress, so that this duality between tradition and modernity becomes the engine of our evolution.

Our actions are driven by strong values: precision, commitment, and high standards. By passing on our knowledge, we hope not only to preserve our traditions, but also to inspire a new generation to pursue our mission with the same passion and respect. This sharing is our way of leaving a lasting mark on the world and contributing to a better future for our land, our community, and the generations to come.

Shared knowledge among team members.

At Artisans Partisans, versatility is an essential value. Everyone puts their skills at the service of the collective, in a spirit of mutual support and passing on. A great example of this dynamic is the recent arrival of our new sommelier. Even before taking up his role in the dining room, he spent two months in the vineyards, taking part in pruning work. A hands-on immersion to understand the key steps that shape the quality of our wines and preserve our terroir.

Solidarity, the beating heart of our cohesion

We are part of a community of artisans, farmers, winemakers, and producers who, day after day, work with passion to elevate their culture. Solidarity among us is essential, because it is together that we face uncertainty and celebrate successes. We are united by the same desire to pass on the beauty of our terroirs and to have them recognized for what they are: treasures to be preserved. The environment we evolve in, the people we work with, and those we reach through our products are connected by invisible threads.

Solidarity is the foundation of our success and our ability to face tomorrow’s challenges. It is a collective effort that will allow us to sustain our heritage and ensure a prosperous future for our territories and for those who depend on them.

What we cultivate

Innovate

Innovate to endure.
Pass on knowledge to create connection.

At Artisans Partisans, innovation is neither a gimmick nor an artifice. It is a lever for transformation.

A tool in service of living systems, allowing us to explore, test, and renew our practices to make our viticulture fairer, more sustainable, and more resilient.

Our commitment is lived at every scale: from vine row to bottle, from winemaking to human relationships.

This is the multifaceted commitment we share with you here.

Innovating without betraying the soil

Trellised plot & animal traction

At Château Ollieux Romanis, we are experimenting with a trellised plot, a system inspired by Mediterranean farming that responds to the challenges of climate change.

  • Less direct exposure, more natural shade for the grapes
  • Better moisture retention
  • Optimized airflow, therefore fewer diseases
  • Slower, more balanced ripening

And to go even further: we have eliminated all mechanization.

On this same plot, soil work is now entrusted… to a mule. A return to slow, gentle, precise gestures. A rare alliance between future-focused technique and agrarian memory.

Innovating without betraying the soil

Fava beans & ground cover

We introduced rows of fava beans across all our estates. This legume naturally enriches the soil with nitrogen, reduces inputs, fosters microbial biodiversity, and protects soil vitality during winter.

This is regenerative viticulture, caring for the land without exhausting it.

Innovating without betraying the soil

Resistant grape varieties & thoughtful replanting

Facing accelerating climate disruption, we chose ancient, Mediterranean, adapted and resilient grape varieties: Cinsault, Assyrtiko, white Carignan, Macabeu…

We also undertook a process of massal selection: harvesting and replanting cuttings from our old vines ourselves to preserve the plant memory of our terroirs.

This is a form of viticulture that renews itself without denying what built it.

Biodynamics & autonomy

Our vision is holistic: an estate is an ecosystem. It must breathe, vibrate, and dialogue with nature. This philosophy is what we are implementing at Château Ollieux Romanis, which will be biodynamically certified by 2026.

  • We create our own herbal workshop
  • We produce our own preparations and decoctions
  • We time our actions according to lunar and solar cycles

It is a deep, slow, demanding—yet fertile—approach.

We are not seeking a label. We are seeking balance.

The Mauzac Conservatory

At Château Rives Blanques, we carried out a unique conservation project: 4,000 Mauzac vines grafted from 10 historic clones, replanted on an old plot aged 60 to 80 years.

It is the largest genetic reserve of Mauzac in Languedoc.

A living heritage that commits us to the future.

Added to this initiative is a new Carignan conservatory project, currently underway, to preserve the emblematic grape varieties of the Corbières.

Eco-packaging & sustainable design

2025 marks a turning point: our bottles change their skin—without denying their soul.

  • A sober, timeless design, without excess
  • Lightweight bottles to reduce carbon footprint
  • An aesthetic that reflects our commitment: elegant, coherent, conscious

What we help grow

Our partner estates

We are not alone in this approach.

Around us, committed, talented winemakers—people of integrity—share our vision.

With them, we have built lasting, exclusive relationships founded on trust, quality, and a shared desire to showcase Languedoc’s terroirs.

From estate-owned viticulture…

to a broader commitment

From estate-owned viticulture to a broader commitment

While our heart beats within our own estates, our responsibility goes further.

That is why we chose to develop a selective, artisanal, and committed merchant activity, in close collaboration with local winemakers.

This choice allows us to:

  • to support vulnerable estates
  • to preserve regional viticultural diversity
  • to offer our customers a coherent, clear, and committed range of wines

Always with the same goal: to make wine a language, a bond, a culture.
